I designed these logos for Southern Discomfort, a blues band I was in. (We shut shop just before the pandemic hit, revival pending.) The first logo seen here is what we ended up going with. The one below was an earlier option. The band name came from the fact that all three of us are fairly left-leaning liberals from the south of India, also punning on the whisky liqueur brand Southern Comfort (a popular choice of tipple among a lot of down-and-out blues musicians through history).
